Bryan grew up in the Ozark Mountains in a small town called Harrison, Arkansas. He enlisted in the United States Navy in June of 1990. After spending nearly ten years as an enlisted sailor, Bryan attended Officer Candidate School in Pensacola, Florida and joined the Surface Warfare Officer Community. Bryan’s two and a half plus decade career saw him serving all over the globe in various capacities. From Desert Storm to Operation Enduring Freedom, Bryan was there.
Bryan retired from Active Duty service on December 1, 2016. Bryan, along with his wife and 3 kids now call the greater San Antonio, Texas area their home. He loves to travel, read, and can almost always be found in the kitchen cooking, telling stories, and enjoying a glass of wine with family and friends. He has great aspirations of becoming the next great outdoors man in the near future and has already picked out several spots along his walls for his trophy kills.
Bryan holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from The Florida State University in History and Anthropology. He also has Master’s Degrees from The Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey, CA and The National Defense University (NDU) in Washington, DC. He studies International Relations and Security Affairs at both institutions and was awarded “Honor’s Thesis” upon his graduation from NDU.
