Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Judy has almost 23 years of experience in architecture with 2 years of that experience working exclusively with DIRTT. Judy holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. After completing her studies, she returned to Los Angeles to work for several firms as Project Architect/Project Manager before moving to Albuquerque in 2007 with her husband and small herd of animals. Her architectural experience designing and managing projects and performing construction administration has been diverse throughout her career. It has included small TI renovations to historic preservation of some of LA’s oldest buildings to large educational and health care projects like the replacement hospital at Children’s Hospital LA. Her past work in Albuquerque with Weller Architects includes projects on Native American lands for IHS, NHA, Jemez Pueblo and other entities.
When she is not working, Judy enjoys spending time with her husband and their 4 dogs and 2 cats at their home in the East Mountains. Although the barn is empty at the moment, Judy has spent her life trail riding horses – a love that began under the Hollywood sign in LA some 30 years ago. Judy also enjoys reading, cooking gluten free and paleo meals for her husband and traveling to faraway places.
